The feed change, the farrier's cycle, last spring's weight, that recurring soundness issue — you keep the details because they matter. But scattered across a board, a notebook, and your memory, they're hard to trust and easy to lose. Hoofprints keeps the whole record in one place.

Hoofprints makes it easy to record the little details that add up. It turns your notes and routines into a complete record of care, so you can see the patterns that matter, and the ones you may not have noticed.
I built Hoofprints to help care for Comet, my now 32 year old heart horse. At his age, the details matter more than ever — small changes in feed, weight, and medication add up fast, and staying on top of them is what keeps him comfortable and healthy. I also needed to share that record, and any changes, with my vet so we could manage his care together. Nothing I tried made that easy, so being a developer, I built Hoofprints. If you track your horse's care as closely as I track his, I think you'll feel right at home.

Every detail, every horse, every day — built on three core ideas.

Today
Your routines become a simple checklist — a care manual anyone can follow. Tap to check one off and it's logged automatically, for one horse or the whole barn.

Records
Training, vet visits, farrier notes — past and planned. A few taps and it's saved to that horse's history for good.

Trends
Step back and Hoofprints surfaces the patterns in your records — the routines that are holding, the habits that have slipped, and the slow shifts that only show up across a whole season.
Private to you. Built on Apple's CloudKit, with no third-party servers — your records live only on your device and in your private iCloud.
Shared on your terms. Share a horse like an Apple Note (view-only for now), or link another profile to collaborate while each of you keeps your own records in your own iCloud. Richer sharing is on the way.
Hoofprints is in active beta on iPhone. Sign up and we'll send a TestFlight invite as spots open — free while we're in beta. All we ask is that you tell us what your barn really needs.
